ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
Seven years after the very successful Young Researchers Symposium on Multilingualism (DISM) in Donostia in 2016, this new edition will take place in Morella, a medieval jewel near Castelló (Valencia, Spain). The Morella Young Researchers Symposium on Multilingualism (MYRSM) will bring together early career researchers (i.e. MA, PhD and Postdoc students) who work on multilingualism from different perspectives, be it cognitive, linguistic, sociolinguistic or educational. Senior scholars can also attend the symposium as co-authors of the work presented by young researchers.
Submissions are solicited for 20-minute oral presentations or posters. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Authors’ names, affiliations and contact details should be included in a separate second document. Abstracts and the second document should be submitted to myrsm2023@gmail.com by January 28, 2023.
MYRSM will also include two sessions in which experienced researchers will give advice on academic career trajectories, work-life balance, research methodology, mentoring, paper reviewing processes, among other issues that may be of interest to early career researchers.

The organising committee will also provide a free bus from Castelló to Morella on the 12th June, leaving from the central bus station at 15.00h. There will also be a return bus from Morella to Castelló on the 14th June, leaving at 08.00h.

The registration fee is 60€ for participants and 40€ for non-participants. You can complete the registration using this link.
Registration closes on April 28th. However, if you want us to arrange accomodation for you (see below), we ask you to register before April 6th to ensure accomodation for all participants.
Please note that Morella is a small town with limited accommodation options. We have arranged three hotels, El Cid (40,50€ single room / 73€ double room), Rey Don Jaime (54€ single room / 73 € double room) and Cardenal Ram (90€ double room). Rooms are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, so we kindly ask you to complete the registration as soon as possible in order to secure your reservation. The organising committee has blocked rooms in these hotels for 2 nights only (12th and 13th). If you wish to stay for longer, please contact the relevant hotel directly to arrange this.
